'Chili In The Park' Brings On The Heat Saturday In Palos Park
Do you make the best chili in the world? Then enter your heat in "It's Chili In The Park" on Saturday, April 16, or stop by for the tasting.
PALOS PARK, IL — If you think you make the best pot of chili on your block and possibly the world, then enter "It's Chili in The Park" outside the Palos Park Recreation Center, 8901 W. 123rd St. The chili cook off is Saturday, April 16.
The recreation and parks department is still looking for chili cooks and testing judges. If you are interested, email recreation@palospark.org or call 708-671-3760.
Cooks arrive at 7 a.m. and start cooking at 11 a.m., grounds open to the public at 12:30 p.m.; the taste testing starts at 1:15 a.m. The tasting fee is $5 per person.
