On January 8th 2019, Chrissy Lynn Baugh 43 years old, a long time Alsip resident, lost her battle with breast cancer. The loving Daughter of Frances (nee Molitor) and the late Arthur Baugh, Sister to Mark (Lynn) and Michael (Cathy) and Aunt to Ashley, Abigail and Zach. She was a former Administrative Assistant at Loyola Hospital in the Pediatric ICU Unit. After completing her Business Administration degree at Governors State University, Chrissy worked in the Finance/Mortgage industry for Washington Mutual Bank and Wells Fargo. The stresses of the finance industry and her lifelong struggle with epilepsy encouraged Chrissy to change her life goals and focus on a career in the medical field where she always had a true passion for caring for people. As Chrissy pursued her degree in nursing, she worked as a CNA and it became evident that her struggles with the memory loss from the effects of her epilepsy would prevent her with carrying on that dream of becoming a nurse. Chrissy was a friend to so many, both old and new, and loyal to all.
Chrissy was surrounded by family, friends and her loving dog Roxie. She was preceded in death by her beloved dogs, Chynna, Marley, Deva, and Raven. In the end of her life Chrissy continued to do as she always has, fight and battle with every challenge that she has faced, and did so with dignity.
