Clothing Drive March 1-30 at Green Hills Public Library District
We Are in Need of Clothing Donations
The Library is holding an Eid Clothing Drive from Friday, March 1– Saturday, March 30. This Clothing Drive benefits our Eid Clothing Bazaar, to take place on Friday, April 5 from 10am-4pm.
We need YOUR help in filling our racks with clothing for men, women, and children over the age of 3 that would be appropriate for celebrating Eid. We are accepting gently used clothing items at the Youth Services Desk. This is a very special time of year, full of celebration, so make sure your donated clothes are clean and in good repair. Please no socks, shoes, baby clothes, or household items. We will also accept donations of standard-sized plastic hangers and clothing racks. Help us provide a necessary resource for all families at this important time of year.
What does appropriate for Eid mean? That is different for every person who celebrates Eid, so we would like all types of clothing, from modest to more modern clothing that would be fitting for a holiday or celebration.
