It is with great sadness that the family of Colette Ann Barajas (“Cookie”) announces her passing. Colette went to be with her Lord on January 15, 2018 at the age of 87. Colette was born in Chicago IL on March 6, 1930 to Edward and Irene Campbell. She is preceded in death by her son Samuel (Jan Edmonds) Barajas Jr. and her husband Samuel Barajas Sr. She is survived by daughters Sandy (Cruz) Centeno and Colette (Kristen Birner) Barajas, her son John (Rosalinda) Barajas, her sister Catherine Osborn, nieces, nephews, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Colette was a resident of Oak Hills Country Club in Palos Heights. She was an avid golfer & loved life, her family and friends.
Visitation Thursday, January 25th from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Friday, January 26th, from 10 a.m. until time of chapel prayers 11 a.m. at the Kerry Funeral Home, 7020 W. 127th Street, Palos Heights proceeding to Saint Alexander Church, 7026 W. 126th Street, Palos Heights, Mass 11:30 a.m.
Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
