Come Out February 20 for Dancing with the District!

The School District 128 PFA is thrilled to announce that our second Dancing with the District will be held on Saturday, February 20th at Shepard High School. Doors will open at 5:00pm and dancing will begin at 6:00pm. (Please enter through Door 12 – located in the back of Shepard High School.)

Seven faculty members, representing each of the 4 schools in our district, are participating in the event. The dancers have all been very busy over the last few months - selecting their routines, practicing with their partners from the Arthur Murray Dance Center in Oak Brook, and finalizing their outfits.

The winner will be determined by a combination of judges’ scores and audience voting! $1 = 1 vote! Unlimited voting!

Pizza, non-alcoholic drinks, and treats will be available for purchase (pre-order and at the event). Cash, checks, and credit cards will be accepted.

Following the competition, professional dancers from the Arthur Murray Dance Center will perform for us and we will also have an exhibition by students from Legacy Dance Studio! New this year, we will also have performances from our very own IJHS Cheer Squad and IJHS Poms team!

And last, but certainly not least, we will be having our locally famous D128 PFA Silent Auction during the event!

All proceeds from this event will benefit the District 128 PFA. The PFA pays for many things that fall outside of the District’s yearly budget. Every child in our district directly benefits from the monies raised through our organization.
