Congratulations Conrady Class of 2023

More Than 400 Graduates Cross the Stage

More than 400 Conrady Junior High School graduates crossed the stage Monday night to begin their lives as newly-minted high school freshmen.

The graduation took place on the football field at Stagg High School under an absolutely beautiful blue sky and temperatures in the 70s. Students wearing black and gold caps and gowns entered the football stadium to the applause from friends and family members and the sounds of the classic "Pomp and Circumstance" song as they took their seats in front of the stage.

Student Council President Quwiyya Folagi served as the Master of Ceremony for the evening. In remarks offered throughout the ceremony, Conrady eighth graders were acknowledged for their academic, athletic and humanitarian achievements during their time at Conrady.

Superintendent Jeannie Stachowiak noted that the mission of both NPD117 and Conrady is to provide students with the best learning environment possible. Dr. Stachowiak said the district works hard to build on students' strengths but also to identify and provide areas of support to ensure student success.

"Everything you have learned in elementary and middle school has helped to build your foundation for continued learning," she said. "In high school, you will add to that learning. You are the architect of your path."

Supt. Stachowiak urged students to take advantage of everything high school has to offer "and to be sure to offer your high school everything you have as well. "
