Couple Threatened With Knife While Fishing On Pleasure Lake: Cops

A 24-year-old Palos Hills man was charged with simple assault.

PALOS HILLS, IL — A Palos Hills man will have to appear in court in a couple of weeks after an accusation that he threatened a couple fishing on Pleasure Lake last week.

Palos Hills police responded to the lake at 7999 W. 108th St. near 107th and Roberts Road around 3 p.m. on Aug. 23 and were told that Ossama El-Hannouny, 24 was the man who threatened the couple with a pocket knife. He was given a local ordinance citation for simple assault and will have to appear at the Bridgeview Courthouse on Sept. 11.
