Critter Class Shows Participants How To Deal With Wildlife

Animal control officer Melissa Drozd will offer advice on coexisting peacefully with wildlife at Lake Katherine Nature Center July 24.

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — Do critters eat your flowers? Get into your bird feeder? Build a nest in your attic? Lake Katherine will host class for adults on dealing with wildlife from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 24. Natural resources member and animal control officer Melissa Drozd will talk about the critters she has encountered in her professional career and impart simple tips on how to deal with wildlife.

Class size is limited to 45 participants. The cost is $5. Meet at Lake Katherine Nature Center, 7402 Lake Katherine Drive, Palos Heights. To reserve a spot, call 708-361-1873.
