Cubs Fan Remotely Blares 'Go Cubs Go' in St. Louis Bars
"Hope all these Cardinals fans like hearing this song," the jokester Tweeted.
A Cubs fan spared no expense when attempting to annoy St. Louis Cardinals fans Tuesday afternoon. The anonymous fan spent $50 to blast the ”Go Cubs Go” song on juke boxes in St. Louis bars.
The Cubs fan bragged via Twitter that he was using an app to remotely play the battle cry, just as Cards fans were getting together for the game.
“Trolling sensitive Cardinals fans is the internet’s highest and best use,” wrote the man who goes by the Twitter handle Clue Heywood.
One of the bars was called Rizzo’s.
“I go, ‘Well, I don’t know where that song came from,’“ the manager told CBS, when she heard it come on. Fifteen minutes later, it played a second time.
All in good fun—and even the Cards fans got a kick out of it.
