Deadline for Arbor Day Poster Contest Is Thursday For Kids Ages 4-12

PALOS PARK, IL — The Village of Palos Park is holding an Arbor Day poster contest for kids ages 4 through 12. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, May 4, at the Kaptur Administration Center, 8999 W. 123rd St. The theme is "The Wonder of Trees."

Posters must be on 11 X 17 poster paper. Colored pencils, crayons and markers may be used. All entries will be displayed at The Lodge At The Center, 8999 Southwest Highway for “The Wonder of Trees” Arbor Day celebration Sunday, May 7.

Prizes of $25 will awarded to the 4 to 5, 6 to 7, 8 to 9 and 10 to 12 age groups. Be sure to print the young artist’s name, age and telephone number on the back of the poster.
