SATURDAY, DEC. 26

Suspended license, speeding

Michael Thomas Siberz, 42, of the 8300 block of 138th Place, Orland Park, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and speeding after a Dec. 26 traffic stop, according to Palos Heights police reports.

Police pulled over Siberz at about 9:52 a.m. for speeding in the 12100 block of 76th Avenue, the report stated. A background check during the stop found that Siberz’s license was suspended, the report added.

Siberz was held on $1,500 bond, and his court date is Jan. 14.

FRIDAY, DEC. 25

Death threat

A Chicago Public Schools teacher claims a student was sending text messages to her threatening to kill her, according to Palos Hills police reports.

The teacher contacted police about the harassing texts at about 7 p.m. Christmas Day, the report stated. Palos police contacted the student’s mother, as well as officials at Chicago Public Schools and the Chicago Police Department, the report added.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 23

Criminal trespass

Krystian Witkowski, 25, of the 7300 block of South Beloit Avenue, Bridgeview, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass to real property after a Dec. 23 incident, according to Palos Heights police reports.

Police claim Witkowski refused to leave the grounds of Palos Community Hospital, 12251 S. 80th Ave., after being asked to do so by security at about 6:43 a.m., the report stated.

Witkowski was held on $1,500, and his court date is Jan. 14.

Broken mirror

The driver’s side mirror on a vehicle parked in the 8900 block of West 99th Street was reported broken Dec. 23, according to Palos Hills police reports.

TUESDAY, DEC. 22

Theft

Spools of electrical wire were reported stolen between Dec. 18 and 10 a.m. Dec. 22 from the basement of a house in the 9900 block of South 87th Avenue, according to Palos Hills police reports.

There were no signs of forced entry, the report stated.

Broken headlight

The driver’s side headlight of a 2007 Toyota was reported broken at about 3:50 p.m. Dec. 22, according to Palos Hills police reports.

The vehicle was parked in the lot at Walgreen’s, 11053 Southwest Hwy., the report stated.
