Dinnertime Burglary
While the homeowners went out for dinner, someone entered their home sometime before 10 a.m. May 18 in the 8800 block of 97th Street and stole jewelry.
Parking In Middle of Crash Scene
An Orland Park man is charged with resisting and obstructing police around 12:30 a.m. May 19. According to the report, Yassin Yassin, 23, parked his car in the middle of a traffic crash in the 10300 block of Roberts Road. Police said he refused to move his vehicle for emergency vehicles. When officers tried to arrest Yassin, he allegedly flailed his arms and refused to be handcuffed.
