Driver Points Gun At Car Wash Customer In Road Rage Incident

The customer was leaving the Wet Spot Car Wash when a driver pointed a gun claiming the customer cut him off, police said.

PALOS HILLS, IL — A customer leaving a car wash told police that another driver pointed a gun at them in an apparent road rage incident.

Palos Hills police responded to the Wet Spot Car Wash at 105th Street and Harlem Avenue around 3 p.m. Dec. 24. The customer told officers they were leaving the parking lot when another driver claimed they cut him off . Officers said the driver pointed a gun at the customer.

Officers combed the area but could not find the offending driver. The case has been referred to the Criminal Investigations Division.
