Morrison v. Gorman 17th District Cook County Commissioner

The swamp is deep here in Illinois. Layers thick with elected cowards following all the wrong so-called “leaders”. Take Morrison for example. He is the Republican chair of Cook County, the 17th district Cook County Commissioner, Palos Township Republican Committeman and self-appointed 3rd district Republican Committeeman on the State Central Committee. Plenty of influence to really have an impact on Illinois Republican leadership. He chooses however to hide. He never released any statement condemning the four years’ long ridiculous and sometimes life threatening protests of me at the Township offices, he donated $1k to my opposition (the party listed in the above photo), he refused to publicly release a statement condemning the riots of Black Lives Matter even after I posted the above statement on Facebook, he appeased the protesters by naming a Muslim woman to take my trustee position that I vacated to run for Palos Township Assessor. And in my opinion, that’s just a sample of his traitorous behavior.

The choices for 17th district Cook County Commissioner are poor because both of these people (committeemen in their respective Townships) refuse to search for Republicans that will take the fight to the Democrats to change Illinois. It would appear that they seek only to keep their power and keep the voting public ignorant. I would say where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

Breaking the swamp’s control means breaking Cook County. Chicago voters won’t do it so it falls onto surrounding suburbs of Cook County. I wouldn’t vote for either of these two swamp creatures. Get yourself involved or move out of Illinois. Illinois Policy Institute is a good start to find the right answers.
