Enter the Palos Heights Holiday Tree Decorating Contest

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — Scout troops, organizationis, churches, schools, families and businesses are invited to enter the City of Palos Heights annual tree decorating contest for the holidays. There is no fee to enter and applications are due Nov. 12.

Trees will be displayed throughout the holiday season at Memorial Park. 7601 . The city will supply the trees and set them out on Nov. 23 on a first come, first serve basis. Trees must be decorated by Dec. 2. Please note electricity will not be provided.

First, second and third place prizes will be awarded and judged based on creativity and theme. The decorated trees will be displayed throughout the holiday season in Memorial Park, 7607 W. College Drive, across the street from Paloss Heights City Hall.

The winners of the contest will be announced at the city council meeting on Dec. 7.
