Erectile Dysfunction Subject of Moraine Valley Medical Education Series
Dr. Matthias Hofer, an assistant professor of urology at Northwestern University, will give a talk on erectile dysfunction Sept. 13 at MVCC.

PALOS HILLS, IL -- Moraine Valley Community College’s medical education series is back this fall with a presentation on erectile dysfunction from 7 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13, in Moraine Valley’s Dorothy Menker Theater in the Fine and Performing Arts Center, 9000 W. College Park, Palos Hills. The free event is co-sponsored by Northwestern Memorial Hospital and is open to the public.
Dr. Matthias Hofer will give a presentation on “Updates on the Management of Erectile Dysfunction and BPH.” Dr. Hofer, assistant professor of urology at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine. He also is on staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Dr. Hofer earned both his M.D. and Ph.D. from the University of Ulm in Germany. He completed his residency in urology at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University and finished a urology fellowship at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Since 2004, Moraine Valley’s Career/Health Sciences Programs and Northwestern Memorial Hospital have collaborated on this medical education series on health topics, including sleep disorders, mind-body pain management, sports-related concussions, stroke and brain aneurysms, prostate cancer, fertility, cardiovascular disease, gynecological malignancies and treatments, tobacco cessation, stem cell/bone marrow transplantation, immunotherapy, lung diseases, and diabetes.
