Adventurer to Show Slides of 2,300-Mile Canoe Trip Down Mississippi River

A slide show of a 2,300-mile canoe down the Mississippi River will be featured on Sunday, April 3.

Adventure photographer John Lynn will tell tales, both short and tall, and show photographs, of his canoe trip down the entire length of the Mississippi.  Lynn is a writer, humorist, traveler and educator from Peoria.

Lynn's presentation is part of the Emerson Hill series at The Center.  The evening will begin with a dinner at 5:30 p.m., followed by the program at 6:30 p.m.  Dinner costs $15 per person and requires advance reservations.
