Basket Class at The Center

The Log Cabin Center for the Arts, 12700 Southwest Highway in Palos Park, will offer a Basketry workshop from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on six Thursday evenings beginning Feb. 3.

Jane Dwyer, of Park Forest, will teach new basketry students to make a wood-bottomed basket, with a choice of colored trim, and then choose two more basket styles to complete during the six week session. 

Basket classes cost $78 per six-week session, plus a $25 materials fee.
