The Book & Film Series returns to the Palos Park Public Library on Wednesday, October 13th at 2:00 pm with The Ghost Writer, based on the book by Robert Harris. The film is directed by Oscar-winning director Roman Polanksi who teams up with Ewan McGregor and Pierce Brosnan for a twisty political thriller about a ghostwriter who is hired to complete the memoirs of a former British prime minister and uncovers secrets that put his own life in jeopardy. Run time 128 minutes.
