Children's Dance Classes

New creative movement classes for young children will begin at The Children’s Farm on Thursday, Jan. 20, 12700 Southwest Highway in Palos Park.

Dance teacher Jamie Spirakes invites children ages 15 months (must be walking) to 23 months to participate in this class which emphasizes the joy of movement and dance. Children develop gross motor, communication and social play skills, through props, instruments, jumping, skipping, and wiggling, and dancing.

The class meets in the Anderson Activity Center at the farm, from 9:15-10 a.m. for six weeks. Coffee will be served to moms in the adjoining room, so that the children can enjoy an independent experience.
