Young Rembrandts classes teach children the skills necessary to draw more complex images. As they learn about art and color, children discover the world around them and develop fundamental skills that prepare them as learners.
Weekly Young Rembrandts guided drawing instruction helps children:
- Learn to follow directions
- Understand and draw basic shapes
- Hold and use a pencil
- Increase their attention span
- Stay on task and complete activities
- Gain fine motor and handwriting skills
- Develop their image vocabulary
- Enhance their communication skills
- Increase their self-confidence and self-esteem
Preschool classes for ages 3-5 are from 3:15-4 p.m while elementary classes for 6-12 are from 4:15-5 p.m.
