"Films in the Park" returns to the Palos Park Public Library in partnership with Palos Fine Arts and will present films that focus on the "rhythm of art". October's film, The Drummer, tells the story of a rebellious son of a savage triad boss who goes into hiding to save his life, encounters the mesmerizing Zen drummers and is changed by their austere way of life. Mandarin and Cantonese dialogue with English subtitles. Run time 115 minutes. Light refreshments will be served before the movie followed by a discussion of the film.
