Glenn Martin on the Piano

Palos Park's Glenn Martin will share his wonderful piano talent in this April 5th luncheon. For this program, Glenn has chosen Robert Schumann's "Arabeske" and his "Scenes from Childhood," as well as several songs by Franz Schubert, transcribed for piano by Franz Liszt. Schumann's music is of the romantic era and both of these compositions are light, but still varied enough for pleasant listening. Schubert wrote many many songs and these are among the most popular. Join us for a lovely afternoon of classical music!

Every Tuesday at The Center from noon until 2pm, we have a delicious luncheon followed by an enlightening program on travel, nature, art, book reviews, personal growth, world affairs, spirituality, or other topics of interest. Cost is $15. Please make reservations by the Sunday before the luncheon.
