The Palos Heights Public Library will host a father/son book discussion on Monday, December 12 at 7 p.m. Boys in grades 3-5 and their dads (or other adult) will discuss the book One-Handed Catch by MJ Auch.
One-Handed Catch is the story of sixth-grader Norman, who loses his hand in an accident in his father's butcher shop in 1946. He uses hard work and humor to learn to live with his disability and to succeed at baseball, art, and other activities.
