Hickory Willow Swim Association 2 week Trial.

Come join HWSA and learn about competitive swimming! Our coaches will help you improve your swim strokes, racing starts and turns, and help prepare you for
competitive meets. We are always looking for new swimmers ages 5 & up, of all levels interested in joining a successful, competitive team. HWSA placed 3rd in the state at the Illinois state Age Group Championships in July.

For new swimmers only - the first 2 weeks will be offered as a trial so you can decide whether or not this is the right sport for you.  HWSA is not a “learn to swim” program or a substitute for swim lessons.   Please note that the fee for the 2 week trial is $40.00.

The 2 week trial will take place Monday -Friday from September 12th-23rd.  6:00-7:00pm

A time trial race will take place on Thursday, September 22

Swimmers will be placed in team groups according to their age and ability.   Time trial results will be posted on Friday September 23rd at the pool and also on the team website.

REGISTRATION DATES FOR TRIAL SWIMMERS ARE: 
 TUES & THURS September 6, & 8 from 7-8:30 pm at the Stagg High School Pool.  111^th & Roberts Rd. SW entrance

 Clinic registration forms are available at hwsadolphins.org under events. Fill in form, print out, bring with payment of $40 per swimmer to registration.

You must be registered to attend the time trial. 

Swimmers ages 5 - 18 are invited to attend. Bring your swim suits, a towel and a pair of goggles.   Girls must wear a swim cap.  Come ready to swim on September 12th.

The HWSA Fall/Winter swim season runs from September 26^th-Mid February.

Swimmers should plan on attending at least 3 practices per week throughout the  swim season and participate in scheduled dual meets.
