Papercraft Workshop at The Center

The Log Cabin Center for the Arts, 12700 Southwest Highway in Palos Park, will offer a papercraft workshop on Tuesday, Aug. 23, from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

Ann Fowler will teach students to make cards using the iris-folding technique, that uses ribbon and colorful papers to make a swirling design resembling the iris of the eye.

The workshop cost of $17 plus a $6 materials fee.
