Fake Money Used To Pay For Meal Leads To Arrest: Palos Hills PD

The Chicago man was picked up in a traffic stop after a months-long investigation, police said.

PALOS HILLS, IL — A Chicago man suspected of passing counterfeit money was arrested after a months-long investigation. Jermaine N. Travis, 23, was charged with forgery after a months-long investigation.

On Sept. 16, 2022, police said Travis passed a counterfeit twenty-dollar bill at a local eatery. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop last Wednesday.
