Fall Into Fall At Autumn In The Park

PALOS PARK, IL — Say hello to fall this weekend at Palos Park's renowned Autumn in the Park on the bucolic Village Green 8901 W. 123rd St. The fall festival features a cornucopia of food, spirits, live music, a parade, art, children's activities, BBQ cook off and more. Hours are 6 to 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17 and 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18.

Friday, Sept. 17

6 p.m. - Grounds open

6 to 10 p.m. - Food vendors, beer, wine and spirits

7 to 10:30 p.m. - Musical entertainment by Libido Funk Circus, Chicago's leading cover band entertainment, performing music from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and today. Your Ringmasters of a Funky, Good time!

11 p.m. - Grounds close

Saturday, Sept. 18

11 a.m. - Parade features bands, floats, civic groups, fire and police vehicles, horses, dogs, walkers, riders and community for this wonderful tradition. The parade steps off at 82nd Avenue on 123rd Street in Palos Park and travels westbound to 90th Avenue ending near the festival grounds.

11:30 a.m. - Grounds open

Noon to 10 p.m. - College Football on the big screen

Noon to 10:30 p.m. - Food vendors, beer, wine, spirits

Noon to 3:30 p.m. - Petting zoo

Noon to 6 p.m. - Artisans, vendors, demos and sales

Noon to 6 p.m. - Kids Area

3 to 6 p.m. - Big Dog Mercer

4:30 p.m. - BBQ Public Testing

7:30 t0 10:30 p.m. - Mike and Joe

11 p.m. - Grounds close

Noon to 3:30 p.m. - The Center of Palos Park Petting Zoo

11 a.m. to 6 p.m. -Bounce House from Dino Jump

Noon to 4 p.m. - McCord Gallery and Palos Park Library Art Project

Noon to 4 p.m. - Do Good Movement Art Project
