PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — Police and fire departments who use Palos Hospital for health care-related calls saluted nurses at Palos Community Hospital with a parade around the hospital campus at the conclusion of National Nurses Week.

Medical staff in scrubs and face masks stepped outside for a breath of fresh air as fire and police vehicles from Palos Heights, Palos Park, Palos Hills, Orland Park, Orland Hills, Chicago Ridge, Oak Forest, Moraine Valley Community College and other municipalities paid tribute the health care workers of Palos Hospital, where there are two floors of patients being treated for coronavirus.
