Foundation Fundraiser Nets Over $7000 for D118 Media Centers

Funds raised by the Foundation provide financing for items that may be beyond the means of conventional public school funding.

The Palos Educational Foundation presented checks for $7100 to Palos School District 118.

Foundation president Sheila Pacholski presented each school with a check from its Laps for Literature fundraiser which was held in September.

Students who solicit donations walk laps around the school on the day of the event which includes music and a fun atmosphere.

Funds raised by the Foundation provide financing for items that may be beyond the means of conventional public school funding. To date the Foundation has donated just over $556,000 to Palos School District 118.
