Green Hills Library Offers 'Food For Fines' Amnesty

PALOS HILLS, IL -- Do you have some overdue library books gathering dust in your home? Green Hills Public Library is offering patrons a way to clear their accounts. During the month of November, the library will waive $1 from patrons’ overdue fines for each non-perishable food item that they donate. All food items will be donated to local food pantries. There is no limit to what you bring in. The Green Hills Public Library is located at 10331 S. Interlochen Drive, Palos Hills.
