Green Hills Library Shifts to Remote Services
Green Hills Library will close its building to the public but services remain available to the community.
PALOS HILLS, IL — In response to the Stay-At-Home Advisory issued by the Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH), the Green Hills Public Library District is modifying its services to help slow the spread of COVID-19. As of November 18, 2020, the Library building is closed to the public and will remain closed until further notice.
It is the library’s priority to safely provide access to materials and information. Although the Library building is closed, many services remain available to the community:
- Staff can assist you by phone or email during the following hours: Monday 9am-5pm, Tuesday, 1-9pm, Wednesday 9am-5pm, Thursday 1-9pm, Friday 9am-5pm, and Saturday 11am-3pm.
- The book drop will remain open 24/7, located off 103rd Street.
- Doorside delivery will continue as previously offered with additional time slots.
- Virtual reference is available by phone or email.
- Virtual readers advisory is available by phone or email.
- Virtual programming will continue as scheduled.
- Digital services including Library card sign-up and access to online resources on the Library’s website.
