Heavy Set Man Sought In Palos Park Spa Theft: Cops

PALOS PARK, IL -- Police are looking for a white, heavy set male captured on security video stealing money from a Palos Park spa. The theft happened on Jan. 4 at a spa in the 12900 block of LaGrange Road.

Initial video retrieved by investigators shows a man with glasses allegedly walking up to counter around 8 p.m. Friday, bending over and removing approximately $2,000 cash from the drawer. The man soon exits out the front door.

Police believe the man to be around 5-foot-7 inches tall and weighing 275 pounds. The investigation continues and additional video is being reviewed by Palos Park police.
