Help Send Palos Thunder Team to Cooperstown

Palos Baseball Organization families need your help in funding a very special trip.

This summer, the club will send players to compete in a national tournament held in Cooperstown, New York July 25–31. Fundraising efforts are in the works, with one planned for Friday, March 20.

Stop into Trio, 11845 Southwest Highway Friday at 7 p.m., for a $35 deal that includes drinks and appetizers. Proceeds go to Palos Thunder’s Team Ladewig, one of the two teams that will play in the tournament. The group will raffle off a 46-inch Smart LED HDTV, White Sox Scout seats, Paul Konerko autograph, mini IPad, and local gift certificate bundle.
