Hills Chamber Hosts First-Ever Pumpkin Decorating Contest

PALOS HILLS-HICKORY HILLS, IL – Time to get out the carving tools and put a face on the old gourd for the Hills Chamber of Commerce’s first-ever pumpkin decoration contest. Residents of Palos Hills and Hickory Hills are invited to submit their jack o’ lantern for a chance to win a gift card to a local business in each respective community.

Based on the success of the Hills Chamber’s snowman contest this past January, the chamber hit on a pumpkin decorating contest to get people in an autumn mood.

Take a picture of your decorated pumpkin and email it to info@thehillschamber.com no later than Friday, Oct. 22. Be sure to include your name, address and phone number. Winners will be announced on Saturday, Oct. 30, on The Hills Chamber Facebook page as well as the chamber website. Two winners will be chosen from each city and will receive a gift card from a Chamber member business in their respective community.
