Hills Chamber Plans Drive-Thru Holiday Food Drive For Elsie's Pantry

PALOS HILLS, IL — With a tough economy, there are many neighbors struggling to put food on the table for their families over the holiday season. The Hills Chamber is hosting a holiday drive-thru food drive Wednesday, Dec. 13 for Elsie’s Pantry, a joint ministry of Savior Divine Lutheran Church and Living Faith Community Church.

Drop off non-perishable food items, checks and grocery store gift cards on Dec. 13 from 9 a.m. to noon at Savior Divine Lutheran Church, 10040 S. 88th Ave., Palos Hills.

The pantry is also accepting checks. Make checks payable to Living Faith Community Church/Elsie's Pantry, 10040 S 88th Avenue, Palos Hills, IL 60465.

Food will be distributed to families facing financial hardship in Palos Hills, Palos Park, Palos Heights, Hickory Hills, Willow Springs, Justice, Bridgeview and Palos Township. For more information, contact the Hills Chamber Office at 708-233-6860.
