Holiday Academic Music Concerts Set For December At Moraine Valley

Joyous holiday academic music concerts are scheduled in December at the Moraine Valley Community College Fine and Performing Arts Center.

PALOS HILLS, IL — Joyous holiday concerts performed by music academic students are scheduled throughout December at the Moraine Valley Community College Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC).

Most of the performances are free, and will take place in either the Dorothy Menker Theater or the John and Angeline Oremus Theater on the main campus, 9000 W. College Parkway, Palos Hills.
The Moraine Valley Jazz Combo will present their Fall Concert on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 7:30 p.m., in the Oremus Theater.

The Percussion Ensemble presents “Rhythms of the Season” with special guest artist and tabla player Krissy Bergmark on Thursday, Dec. 5, 7:30 p.m., in the Dorothy Menker Theater.

The Flute Choir will perform “Flute Fa-la-la’s” on Friday, Dec. 6, 7 p.m., in the Oremus Theater.
The Moraine Chorale and Chamber Singers present “Merry Christmas Music” on Saturday, Dec. 7, 7:30 p.m., in the Dorothy Menker Theater. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 55+, $10 for Moraine Valley employees/veterans/under 18 and $5 for Moraine Valley students.
