Injured Lansing Man Charged With Unlawful Use Of A Weapon

Palos Hills police said the man would not tell them how he got hurt and later turned out to be a felon in possession of a knife.

PALOS HILLS, IL — A Lansing man was arrested and charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon in Palos Hills, reports said. Reno Giovanni McMahon, 22, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.

On Nov. 30, Palos Hills police were called to the 7300 block of 105th Street for a report of an injured person. When officers arrived, they found an injured man, later identified as McMahon, who would not tell officers how he got hurt, police said.

Unrelated to his injuries, officers found McMahon in possession of a knife, police said. According to reports, McMahon was later discovered to be a felon and was subsequently charged. Police said McMahon was not stabbed.
