Interested Candidates Invited To Apply For MVCC Board Vacancy
The Moraine Valley Community College board of trustees is looking for qualified candidates to fill a board vacancy through April 2019.
PALOS HILLS, IL -- The Moraine Valley Community College Board of Trustees is looking for qualified candidates to fill a vacancy on the board until April 2019. The vacancy was created by the resignation of Michael Murphy, who resigned Feb. 20. Murphy had served two years on the board.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, a U.S. citizen, and a resident of the college district for at least one year. Trustees serve without pay.
Interested residents should submit a cover letter, stating their qualifications and reasons for serving on the board, and a resume. The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, March 16. The board of trustees will review all applications in confidence after the deadline.
