
Has passed into heaven August 15th, 2018 after suffering from complications of Myasthenia Gravis and many other issues that claimed her life. Since 1972 Janet was a resident of Palos Heights, IL. She was born and raised in Sheboygan WI. She earned her education at Trinity Lutheran Grand Elementary School and Sheboygan Central High School. Janet went on to a year of secretarial school and later earned her medical transcription c...ertification at Morraine Valley Community College. She worked at the University of Wisconsin Hospital of Orthopedics for 9 years. She then moved to Chicago and found employment at Ann & Robert h. Lurie Children’s Hospital, formally Chicago Children’s Memorial Hospital, as Dr. Henry Nadler’s secretary for 3 years. She ended up working at High Tech Medical Center as a medical transcriptionist in Palos Heights for 19 year. She retired in 2007 to help raise her twin grandsons for 14 years.
Janet is survived by her husband John of 48 years, her daughters; Erika (Donny) Carter & Gretchen Freimuth, her cherished twin grandsons; Jax and Kenny Carter, her sister Margaret Leicht of Grafton, WI. She was the aunt of Jeffrey (Deborah) Leicht, great aunt of Jennifer (Jeff) Jarzabek, Jacqueline Leicht, was the aunt of June (David) Miller, great aunt of Joe and Katie, aunt of Julie Barth, great aunt of Matt and Todd. She also leaves behind many cousins and a great number of loving cats, Sox, George, Fluffy, Hunsie and most of all Kona. She also had a beautiful and unique relationship with her grandanimals at the Shedd Aquarium, specifically Kayavak, Bella, Mauyak, Kimalu, Kri, Ty, Cruz & Rainier. She was preceded in death by her mother Henreitta and father David gross, her husband's mother Henreitta and father Edward Freimuth, all from Sheboygan.

Chapel prayers Thursday, August 23rd, 10:45 a.m. at the Kerry Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, 7020 W. 127th Street, Palos Heights proceeding to Saint Alexander Church, Mass 11:30 a.m.
Interment will be private.
