John F. Gorseck, A.K.A. Gorszczyk, was born on October 15, 1947 and passed away April 17, 2020.
Retired Chief Warrant Officer U.S. Army for 20 years. Loving son of the late Chester and Evelyn
Gorszczyk. Dear sister of Kathleen Sims and the late Daniel Gorszczyk and Joanne Mullehoff. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Father of John, Jimmy "Scott" Matthew and Jeffery Gorszczyk. John belonged to the Chicago Ridge V.F.W. and the Glendale American Legion Post # 1160.
John was very proud of being an Army Veteran and had many awards, ribbons and medals during hisservice. After he retired, he was a bus driver and a part time bartender. He was very generous, donating to many charities, St. Jude's Hospital, American Cancer Society, and A.A.S.L.P.
