Join Palos Heights Police For National Night Out
Take a tour of the Palos Heights police station, watch a K9 demo, learn about personal safety and more Tuesday, Aug. 6.

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — The Palos Heights Police Department will join thousands of communities across the nation this Tuesday, Aug. 6, in hosting National Night Out activities for community members. The festivities kick off from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Palos Heights police station, 7607 W College Drive.
Since 1984, police departments and communities across the United States have held National Night Out events on the first Tuesday in August. More than 38 million neighbors in 16,000 communities throughout the nation will hold some type of event promoting community building and public safety.
Meet your Palos Heights police officers, take a tour of the police department and learn about crime prevention and personal safety. There will be activities for kids and adults alike, plus K9 and motorcycle demonstrations, a DJ, food and prizes.

Park for free in the Palos baseball lot on the west side of the police department. Everyone is welcome so don't be late.
"We welcome anyone and everyone to stop by," Palos Heights Deputy Chief Bill Czajkowski said. "This is a great opportunity to talk with people and explain our profession."
