Juvenile Beats Up Girl For Sandals: Cops

PALOS HILLS, IL -- A male juvenile beat up a girl after school and stole her sandals, reports said. Palos Hills police went to Stagg High School to follow up on a fight that supposedly happened in the New Beginnings Church parking lot at 11111 S. Roberts Road.

According to reports, the boy approached the girl around 3 p.m. Oct. 4 and said the sandals she was wearing did not belong to her. Police said the boy ordered the girl to remove the sandals and knocked her to the ground. Another boy tried to defend the girl. The juvenile attacked the girl again, who fell and struck her head on the sidewalk, police said. The boy removed the girl’s shoes and took off.

The boy was arrested and charged with robbery and battery. His case was turned over to the juvenile assistant state’s attorney at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
