Juvies Charged In 2 Overnight Commercial Burglaries In Palos Hills

PALOS HILLS, IL — Two juveniles are charged in a pair of commercial burglaries that occurred Tuesday during the overnight hours in Palos Hills.

Around 1:35 a.m., Palos Hills officers were dispatched to a security alarm in the 8100 block of 111th Street. The building had been damaged and police believed the purported burglars were still in the area.

Other area police departments joined Palos Hills officers in searching the area. During the search, police were dispatched to a second burglar alarm in the 7300 block of 111th Street.

Officers responded immediately to the commercial building which had just been burglarized, where they found two juveniles, Palos Hills police said.

The pair were taken into custody and charged as juveniles with burglary.
