Kean Avenue To Close For Culvert Improvements
Kean Avenue will be closed between 95th and 107th Street for culvert improvements starting April 1, weather permitting.
PALOS HILLS, IL -- The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that culvert improvements will require closing Kean Avenue between 95th and 107th streets, in Palos Hills, beginning, weather permitting, Monday, April. 1.
Traffic will be detoured to LaGrange Road (U.S. 45). The project is scheduled to be complete in late November.
Motorists should follow posted detour signs, can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
