It is with great sadness that the family of Kenneth J. Smoter announces his passing on September 24, 2024, at the age of 65. We bid farewell to Ken, who will be remembered for being selfless, kind and completely devoted to his family.
He follows his parents, John and Genevieve Smoter in death.
He was a beloved brother to Diane Cirillo, Kathy (Dan) Doczy, and Jon (Jennifer) Smoter.
He was a cherished uncle to his nieces and nephews Courtney (Steve) Macri, Shanna (Nick) Hunt, Lauren Doczy, Romney (Jeanette) Cirillo, Ryan Doczy, Dayne Smoter, Devin Smoter and Drake Smoter. Ken was a dear godfather to 4 of the 8.
He was a loving great uncle to Nathan and Alex Macri, Gianna, Max and Genevieve Hunt and Olivia Cirillo.
He was a “best friend” cousin to Jackie Smoter and Carol Smoter.
As we celebrate his life and think about what will be missed, those who knew Ken will never forget his love for sharing memories, soft tee-shirts, Led Zeppelin and the Green Bay Packers (when they were winning); his love for all things Christmas -- baking and delivering over 100 dozen cookies to family, friends and neighbors -- and his special themes that brought us joy on Christmas Eve; his love of the outdoors, spending countless hours swimming in the pool, washing cars and planting flowers.
Ken was adored by all because he cared for so many.
He was our hero and will be missed.
Until we meet again, we love you, Ken.
