PALOS HILLS, IL — Moraine Valley Community College is hosting several engaging, hands-on courses for children and teens this summer through its Valley Learning Center. Classes start June 7 and later.
Led by a team of dedicated teaching faculty, Valley Learning Center courses assist students in refreshing academic skillsets and exploring their creative side.
Arts and Music

Kids will discover their creativity through arts and music. Students can explore the fundamentals of sound and music production in Recording Engineering Basics or unleash their imagination in Printmaking, Cartooning, Jewelry Making, World of Art for Teens and more.

Students will sharpen their skillsets using hands-on learning in the classroom during reading review and math review. Courses such as Study Skills, Chemistry for Curious Kids, Algebra Refresher and more provide stepping stones to prepare students for the next grade level.
STEM
Explore the exciting world of science, technology, engineering and math. Students will learn robotics, LEGO Stop-Motion Movie Making, programming and coding, chemistry and more from expert faculty.
