Lake Katherine Nature Center Offers Christmas Tree Recycling
Bring your leftover tree to Lake Katherine Nature Center in Palos Heights through Jan. 14 and keep it out of the landfill.
PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — Keep your Christmas tree out of the landfill by recycling it at Lake Katherine Nature Center, 7402 W. Lake Katherine Drive, Palos Heights. Area residents can drop off their trees through Jan. 14 at the end of the parking lot near the farm implements.
Be sure to remove all decorations. Trees will be chipped and distributed along Lake Katherine’s trails in the spring.
