Lane Closures Start Monday, May 16, at Kedzie Avenue and 115th Street
IDOT to begin drainage improvement project, weather permitting. Expect daily lane closures on Kedzie and 115th Street during the summer.

Starting Monday, May 16, the Illinois Department of Transportation announced that lane closures will take place on Kedzie Avenue and 115th Street for a drainage improvement project, weather permitting.
The communities of Chicago (Beverly and Mt. Greenwood), Merrionette Park, Alsip, Blue Island and Robbins will be affected.
IDOT says daily lane closures will reduce Kedzie Avenue and 115th Street to one lane in each direction.

The closures will take place on Kedzie Avenue from 115th Street to 135th Street and on 115th Street from Kedzie Avenue to Rockwell Avenue.
The project is expected to be completed this summer, IDOT said.
