Laura D. Kister nee (Hamilton)

passed unexpectedly on September 21, 2020 at the age of 55. Laura is survived by her husband, John Kister; ex-husband, Jim Biehl; children, Diana Reno (Kevin), Jim Biehl, Dalton Kister, and Cole Kister; grandsons, Riley and Brayden Reno; and brothers, Don and Tom Hamilton. She is preceded in death by her parents, Denise and Richard Hamilton of Palos Heights, Illinois.

Laura was born on July 21, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois to Denise and Richard Hamilton. She worked as a trading clerk, real estate recruiter, and a dental receptionist. She was married to John Kister for 21 years. Her family will remember her as an individual who would light up the room with her bubbly personality, who openly welcomed you into her heart, and who loved unconditionally. She was brave, strong, fierce, and full of fire. She was loved by everyone who was lucky enough to know her. Her beautiful smile was her trademark and her family was her world.
Laura loved spending time at the beach where she grew up, in Michigan, and now soars with the butterflies.

A memorial visitation is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2020 starting at 2:00PM until Father Pat O'Neill from St. Alexander Church in Palos Heights, Illinois will officiate a funeral ceremony at 5:30PM at the Kerry Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center7020 West 127th St. Palos Heights, Illinois. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Laura's life.

PHASE 4 COVID 19 REGULATIONS; Visitors MUST wear a mask when attending the visitation, loitering is NOT allowed, to accommodate all guest paying their respects to the family, and the funeral home kitchen is closed.

Interment will be held in private.
